Distant Dawn
An open-world wandering theme for a northern mountain range — a lone horn over slow strings, written to make walking feel like a nostalgic story.
The Composer
I am an independent composer specialising in orchestral music for fantasy worlds and RPGs — exploration themes that reward wandering, combat cues that breathe with the fight, and ambient beds players can live in for hours.
Selected Works
A few chapters from the worlds I have scored. Filter by mood, press play, and let the music speak.
Exploration · Fantasy
An open-world wandering theme for a northern mountain range — a lone horn over slow strings, written to make walking feel like a nostalgic story.
Combat · RPG
A D-minor battle cue built on shifting drum patterns and low brass. Designed in layers so intensity can follow the fight.
Ambient · Fantasy · Exploration
Yet another open-world exploration theme for a more vibrant atmosphere reminiscent of a forest.
Ambient · Fantasy · Elven
A two-minute cue for a sorrowful sequence: distant strings, a slow woodwinds rise, and a main motif that comes at the last section of the track, played by a heartbreaking duduk.
RPG · Cinematic
Full orchestral piece — aggressive brass marcato, choir hits and a mellow winds in-between section before the return of the main theme.
Dark · Character · RPG
A slow starting cue that aims to represent a specific character revealing its true - dark form.
Services
A complete, coherent score for your game — themes, regions, moods — written to serve the world you are building.
Layered and stem-based cues designed for engines like Wwise or FMOD, so the music reacts to what the player does.
The melody players will hum years later. A signature theme that carries the identity of your game.
The first thing players hear. Music that sets the tone before the first frame of gameplay.
How We Work
A clear, collaborative path — you always know where the score stands.
We talk about your game: its world, its references, its constraints. I read your design docs and play your build if one exists.
I assemble a musical moodboard — references, palettes, instrumentation — so we agree on a direction before a single note is written.
Sketches of the main theme and one or two key cues. Short, focused, and easy to react to.
We iterate together. Feedback rounds are part of the plan, not an exception to it.
Final orchestration, mixing and mastering — delivered loud enough for trailers, dynamic enough for headphones.
Clean, named files in the formats your engine needs: loops, stems, layers, and full mixes, with documentation.
